1. Scope and payment-provider roles
This policy applies to one-time credit packs and recurring StoryFluxa subscriptions. It forms part of the Terms of Service.
The payment service displayed before checkout processes the transaction and may act as payment processor or merchant of record, including for payment collection, applicable indirect taxes, invoices and the technical execution of approved refunds. StoryFluxa administers product support, eligibility under this policy and reconciliation of workspace credits, subject to that service's role, processing requirements and applicable law.
2. Requesting a refund or correction
Open Billing & usage, find the payment or generation, and create a billing case. Linking the exact record lets us compare the payment, credit ledger and provider event without asking for card details.
- Submit the request from the account email when possible and include the workspace, provider, approximate charge date, receipt or order ID, and reason.
- We review complete requests as soon as reasonably practicable. Timing depends on the payment provider and any fraud, rights, identity or usage investigation.
- A refund request does not itself cancel future subscription renewal. Use the billing portal or ask support to cancel renewal separately.
- Never send a full card number, security code, password or API key.
3. One-time credit packs
- Except where applicable law or an express checkout offer requires otherwise, a credit-pack purchase is final and non-refundable once the credits are delivered to the workspace.
- If none of the credits connected to a purchase have been reserved or used, you may ask us to cancel the purchase. Any voluntary refund is reviewed case by case and is not guaranteed.
- Because a workspace wallet is shared, any generation activity after purchase may require manual review of the order and immutable credit ledger. Used or partially used packs are not automatically eligible for a full or pro-rata refund.
- We may approve a full or partial refund for a duplicate or unauthorized charge, material service failure, another exceptional circumstance, or when applicable law requires it.
- When a cash refund is approved, credits connected to the refunded amount are revoked. A refund cannot be used to retain both the money and the purchased service credits.
4. Subscriptions and renewal cancellation
- You may cancel future renewal at any time. Unless the checkout or applicable law says otherwise, access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Cancellation prevents a future renewal but does not refund the current or any earlier paid period. Except where applicable law or an express checkout offer requires otherwise, subscription charges are non-refundable.
- If the latest subscription period has not been used, you may ask us to review that charge. Any voluntary refund is decided case by case and is not guaranteed. Duplicate or unauthorized payment, material service failure, legal requirements and other exceptional circumstances receive separate review.
- An approved subscription refund may end paid access immediately and revoke unused current-period credits. Previously settled, valid usage remains in the billing audit.
5. Failed, cancelled or disputed generations
Starting work may reserve credits. A successful generation settles the displayed charge. If a task fails before billable work is completed, its reservation is released or corrected according to the recorded provider and generation status. If partial billable work completed, the ledger may show a partial or settled charge.
A credit release or correction is not a cash refund. If a verified StoryFluxa defect materially prevents the paid service from being delivered, open a billing case. Subject to applicable law, StoryFluxa may choose to reperform the service, restore the affected credits or approve an appropriate payment refund.
6. Duplicate, unauthorized, refunded and disputed payments
- Confirmed duplicate charges and manifest payment errors are eligible for correction or refund.
- Report suspected unauthorized payment promptly so the payment provider and StoryFluxa can investigate. We may temporarily restrict the affected workspace to prevent further loss.
- Approved refunds return through the original payment route where supported. Provider, bank, region and payment method affect availability and timing; card refunds commonly take 5–10 business days after processing.
- A refund or chargeback causes the related purchased credits to be frozen or revoked. If usage exceeds the remaining paid entitlement, we may suspend new paid generation while the billing case is resolved, but we will not silently create a new charge.
- Starting a chargeback before contacting support can delay fact-finding. Nothing here prevents a lawful chargeback or complaint to a regulator.
7. Statutory withdrawal and non-excludable rights
Nothing in this policy limits a refund, withdrawal, price reduction, re-performance or other remedy that applicable consumer law requires. Where law provides a cooling-off period for digital services, we honor it. By selecting the separate checkout confirmation, you expressly request immediate access and consent to StoryFluxa beginning the digital service before any cooling-off period ends. Where applicable law permits, you also acknowledge that supplying digital content or fully performing the requested digital service may cause you to lose a statutory withdrawal right, and that use before withdrawal may require payment for the service already provided.
We may decline a voluntary refund request involving consumed services, abuse, materially false information or an attempt to retain refunded credits, but not where mandatory law requires a remedy.
8. Policy changes
We may update this policy for product, provider or legal changes. The policy presented at purchase applies to that transaction unless a later version gives you greater rights or applicable law requires otherwise.
